Easiest... page... ever XD Sometimes I'm thankful people are aloud to cheat with screentones 0 30;;; Though, it's not really cheating, I guess, since even official manga artists use screentone stocks.

But hey, the story is starting! :D

Wow!

I must say I am impressed. Maybe the screentone dots are a little large, but it's great otherwise. Did you draw all that or is it a manipulated photo with the screentone added over top? Hey, just had to ask. It's some great detailed line art if you drew it all yourself. So, do you use real screentone, or one of those digital Manga Studio or photoshop screentones?

Also, any non-canonical CNCGB meets GB Nihon fan art salutation comic I might make will be interesting given this takes place when my characters are 8 years old! lol

@ CartoonistWill I didn't know that 0.0. Would be interesting to see really. ^.^

Haha.. I wish I had the talent to draw cityscapes. I once tried real screentone, and that wasn't very nice to me, it's expensive too, so I switched to manga studio and photoshop. I have a nice collection of tones and brushes for manga in my photoshop, and they are all free to use without needing to give credit, since they're mostly just scanned in from real tones and made available as image files.
Manga studio is quite a hassle to figure out, but I thought I'd try to get used to it on this project.

If I was to do a fun crossover fan art, I'd probably draw your CNCGB in the cartoon style while the GBN would be questioning why they look so odd. Ichiro's simple answer, "They're Americans..."

@Zanoh: Right, that would be interesting! If my characters knew each other at that age, I can see a humorous one page comic of them sitting around the TV eating cereal on Saturday morning watching the anime adaptation of Ghostbusters' Nihon Franchises' mythical exploits, ha ha. Or international news or something. If anything in your story is really big and gets aired live, maybe I'll do that, ha.

@BDR: Wow, now you're talking about fan art of my guys? Wow, I'm flattered! And your idea is extremely appropriate! And hilarious! :-)

Oh, I see that you're numbering the pages on the left side as if it were a real physical book that reads right to left. You know, I'd love to see either of our comics printed as a collected volume or issues (for non-profit, of course), but I'm not sure how easy it would be without Sony breathing down our necks for our fandom. I'm thinking LuLu; I don't think Ka-Blam would print it.

I think it is because we just want to have it an authentic Manga feel. That way people feel like they are reading a good quality piece that they can hold in high regards when comparing to the manga they own or read. *nods*

Right. But I can still fantasize about the day I finally make something original I own the copyright to and with enough content to actually be worth printing and then sell to random people I don't know. Humoring myself about printing other things is just an extension of my own dreams to create and print a professional looking book.
